Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul Korea: The last thing I expected was for David to bust out a diamond engagement ring on the day of our photo shoot. Shortly after our session began I asked Michelle if she had brought along her engagement ring so I could get a few shots. She started telling me about how they hadn’t yet-AND BOOM, suddenly David was on one knee with a small velvet box in his hand. I was so stunned I had to remind myself to stop staring and start shooting. It was a wonderful moment. I’ll let Michelle tell the rest of their story…
“We met on Halloween at one of our favorite places in Hongdae, club FF. We had a few mutual friends, and both of us have a strong preference for Jack Daniel’s whiskey, as well as a cat obsession. This started the conversation, and after meeting that night we have pretty much been together ever since! On a side note, David has an interesting sense of humor at times, and he will often tell people (with a straight face) we met through a sky diving accident. To this day, I still don’t see the humor in this, except for the fact that some people believe him.”
“He always has a huge smile on his face, which even now I find very contagious. He is an optimistic person, and puts 100% into everything.”
(Another one of my totally uncalled for ideas)
“I was initially very attracted to her eyes and her sense of humor. She has wonderfully expressive eyes and she can keep up with my quirky sense of humor.”
“We are both coffee addicts, so often times we would stop to grab coffee on our days together. Most of the time this would turn into a 3-4 hour long “coffee date” as we would find ourselves lost in conversation.”
