While living an hour and a half out of Seoul can be a pain at times, I do love some of the attractions my small town has to offer. I felt like shooting in my backyard for a change and it didn’t take much convincing to get the Kau family on board with my idea. The plan was to do a combined maternity and family photo session at two locations. The first we be a slightly formal shoot at Zero Place, one of my favorite cafes tucked away in the nearby mountains. The second, a more casual family photo session at Haemi Fortress, where traditional Korea and nature blend splendidly into one another.
The Kau family made a weekend getaway of their photo shoot, staying in a nearby pension that we booked for them. Now they have more than just photos, they have memories of a time spent exploring some place new.
